Willits is home to a variety of parks offering public BBQ facilities, kid’s playgrounds, recreation facilities and off-leash opportunities for well-behaved dogs.
Just minutes from downtown are Babcock Park, Bud Snider Willits City Park, Recreation Grove Park, Community Ball Fields (soccer/baseball), Willits Skate Park, and the Frank Grasse Dog Park.
Less than five minutes from town, in Brooktrails, is Ohl Grove Park. This beautiful park surrounded by giant redwoods is a gorgeous picnic spot for hot summer days.
