Medicare 101-Willits Library

Hey neighbors! Just a little heads-up for anyone in the Willits area who has Medicare, is getting close to Medicare, or helps a parent or family member with it.

It’s that time of year to start looking at what’s in store for Medicare next year.

I’ll be at the Willits Library on Thursday, October 22 at 3 PM for a Medicare 101 workshop. We’ll go over the basics, the upcoming changes for 2027, how to make sure your prescriptions are covered, how to check your doctors, and some of the things that tend to trip people up.

It’s about an hour, with plenty of time for questions at the end.

And even if you’ve been on Medicare forever and think you already know everything you need to know, I bet you’ll learn something. :-)

Plus, 3:00 is kind of the perfect time. You can get your after-lunch nap in beforehand, catch the tail end of the Willits Farmers Market afterward, and still make it home for Thursday Night Football.
