NEW YEARS EVE PARTY with DAVID GIDEON & FRIENDS
It’s about time to bring in the New Year, and we invite you to a party to kick things off in true Honky Tonk fashion!
David Gideon was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grew up on a hippie commune in Tennessee known as “The Farm” as well as Austin, Texas and Key West, Florida. He is a true gypsy-child of the South and a seasoned traveling troubadour. A long period of his younger years were spent in the hills of Humboldt, Mendocino and Sonoma County and he is no stranger to these parts.
His Nashville recorded, 2022 release; “Lonesome Desert Strum” is a full length, album which features some of Country music’s top A-list players and was produced with 5 time Grammy winning bassist, Dave Roe Rorick (Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakum, Jerry Reed). His music celebrates his rural Tennessee upbringing, Southern roots and adventurous spirit and ranges from Folk to traditional Honky Tonk, all with a country-fried, Southern-style delivery.
He is widely-known as a somewhat controversial, anti-industry Americana artist yet has defiantly worked with some of the best in the music industry where he has received critical acclaim in online publications such as lonsomehighway.com, the boot.com as well as outlets like americanahighways.com and has been played on 400 stations, nationwide. He also released eight additional songs in 2023-2024.
This year alone, David Gideon has played over 40 shows in Nashville, as well as appearances in Austin, Texas. David’s latest single; “Heart Full Of Hope” was released in September of 2024 and features Chris Scruggs on steel guitar, Kenny Vaughan on Telecaster with Pete Abbott of The Average White Band on drums with Dave Roe Rorick on bass. David Gideon is currently recording an album in Northern California, and will be bringing in a few friends for this live show you won’t want to miss!
